Technology Development Base of Medical Equipment of Fujian Province in Fuzhou University, which was established in 2013 under the approval of the Fujian Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, provides public service platform of the technical innovation services for medical equipment manufacturing enterprises. The main tasks of technology development base of medical equipment include: research on medical equipment to help medical equipment manufacturing enterprises to solve technical problems, speed up transfer and industrialization of scientific research and technology, introduce the latest technology and achievements at home and abroad actively, realize the technology transfer, promote the marketing and application of the new technology and technics, provide services for medical equipment manufacturing enterprises to carry out technological innovation activities, undertake the common and key technology development and research task committed by the relevant government departments in the field of medical devices, and provide industry development strategy report and the common and key industry technologies.
We are mainly engaged in research about three related technologies and product development, including biosensors and POCT equipment, rehabilitation technology and mobile health and medical image processing. In recent years, we have undertaken the Ministry of Science and Technology Supporting Project, the Ministry of Science and Technology International Cooperation Project, the EU FP7 project, the Key Project of Strait Joint Fund of the National Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Intergovernmental Science and Technology Cooperation Project, and over 30 major projects of science and technology in Fujian Province.
We offer the services for enterprises. We open electromagnetic compatibility laboratory for medical equipment products and pre-electromagnetic compatibility testing services. At the same time, we carry out the in-depth cooperation with Fujian Food and Drug Certification Review Center. Several members are recruited as review experts of medical equipment registration by the review center. And we can provide counseling and training related with medical equipment review for the majority of enterprises.
