Yuesheng Zheng was born in Zhejiang, China, in 1981. He received the B.Sc. degree in thermal energy and power engineering from Xi’an University of Technology, Xi’an, China, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2012.
From September 2012 to December 2013, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of High Voltage Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. He became a Qishan Scholar in 2014 and a Professor in 2016 in the College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China. His research interests include gas-solid hybrid insulation, gas discharge and numerical simulation of electromagnetic field.
