Zhenguo Shao was born inNantong, Jiangsu,China, in 1970. He received the Ph.D. degree inpower system and automation from Southeast University, China, in 2004. He furthered his post-doctoral research at the postdoctoral research station of Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd, from 2004 to 2006.
Since 2006,he has been working atthe college of electrical engineering and automation, Fuzhou University, Fujian, China, where he currently serves as a professor and associate dean.
Dr. Shao is the member of Power System and Automation Subcommittee ofChina Education of Machinery Industry, Power Quality and Flexible Transmission Standardization Technical Committee and the Technical Committee of State Grid Power Quality Laboratory.
His main research interests are the basic theoretical research and engineering application of power system security and power quality.His research results related to the risk assessment of grid operation, power qualitymonitoring and analysis, pollution source location, grid -connected DGcoordinatedoperationand big data processing in power system.
